I have had opportunity to travel by Jet very recently from Delhi/Bombay to Heathrow, London. And I must say, that the inflight services of Jet is very good...better than most of the others operating on the route such as AirFrance, Lufthansa(one of the worst) or British Airways, Emirates etc.
The food served is excellent and I being a vegetarian have always relished their meal.
The leg room is quite good and the inflight entertainment is remarkable.

Now the bad part... the ground staff of Jet at Delhi is horrible. I was travelling from Bangalore to Heathrow. I boarded a Jet from Blore to Delhi and finally to London again by Jet. I learnt that they have a thorough checkin. i was rather amazed to hear that. Thats fine, after all India is improving in service. I was boarded in a bus arranged by Jet at the Delhi airport. The bus did not move for more than 1.5 hrs. The next flight was due in 3 hours, and I have already lost 1.5 hrs sitting idle in the bus. No one to listen to or vent your concerns. Along with me, there were other foreigners who were travelling and they were getting worried. Actually, they were waiting for another flight to land which was due after 1 hour. And the journey from domestic to international terminus is just 15-20 mins. This has happened not just once but more than 4 times with me.
The only solace is that the immigration queue is small at the international terminal.

It once happened  after reaching the International terminal and got stranded in the immigration check of more than 1000 people. My flight was due in 1.5 hours and the que was moving slowly. This was certainly not the fault of Jet Airways, but they are quite aware of the fact about the time it takes in immigration for outbound passengers. They should make it in time for the passengers who are to make it to the international terminal. I had to request the fellow passengers ahead of me to if I can cross the line to stand ahead. They were courteous enough as every one understands the cost of missing an international flight when you stand last in 1000 people queue and flight is due in 1 hour.
