i have 6month old twins and i recently had to travel to India. I tried the new jetairways flight ewr-brussels-bom upto cochin(to&fro).
the onward journey was ok (since the plane was not at all full) but the return trip was horrific. While booking our tickets we had especially requested for bassinet seats to and fro. We got those seats onward from ewr(as the plane was quite empty) but on the way back we werent given bassinet seats even when we had already requested bassinet seats, to make matter worse the bassinet seats were given to a family which came to the counter after us and was travelling with only 1 infant and moreover this family hadnt even asked for bassinet seats. It beats me when they ask us to request bassinet seats and dont give it to us. The check in especially at cochin it absolutely crazy. We were at the counter the time it opened the other family came 1 hour after us and got the bassinet seats while we waited as the cochin staff took our tickets and passport inside somewhere to get us "seats" and finaly screwed up so bad our bassinet seats were given to someone else who came later and we were stuck with middle row seats. You can imagine 2 adults and 2 infants cramped in the middle row seats in an economy seat for a journey 22hours and more. It was the worst. I will never recommend travelling with infants in jetairways. They are even smarter as they handed out feedback forms only to satisfied customers and we werent given feedback forms even when we asked for it. They sure knew what they did to us was inconsiderate and inhuman and didnt want a written review of it. Beware of jetairways they just "seem" nice, but are totally brainless and dont know who needs consideration and who doesnt.
