I have travelled a reasonable amount of times in many of the domestic airlines.

Out of them all, Jet is the best.

Be it the ticket booking, replying enquiries, guiding and helping passengers board the plane, in-board services, they are doing very well in a pleasing way.

You cannot compare with that of SpiceJet or Airdeccan or indian airlines. They are pathetic. Sahara is OK when compared to spice and airdeccan. I havent travelled in Kingfisher so cant say about it.
But i have heard from my friends about kingfisher, the first point they say is glamorous(both the flight and flight crew). but every one agrees that Jet is classic amopung all/

Infact i would say that Jet gives a international standard servicing in domestic routes and its destined to reach a top slot amoung international airlines also. One can feel that when travelling in a Jet airways flight.

The best part of Jet is the people working in Jet are well trained and attends every passenger in a cool and plesaing way. Passengers can even give feed back for cabin crew members.The staff in the ground also are very helpful and Jet excels in that. 

One major point to evaluate airlines is the time- punchuality. Other than unavaidable reasons like low visibility, airport congestions, Jet maintains time better than other private lines, they dont say problems like engine fault, etc..

Another aspect is food. Though all airlines provide best food, in Jet its ultimate. i didnt notice the caterer for Jet, but they have selected a very best.

Though Jet is bit costly than other cheap(in all ways) airlines, its worth it.
