First Experience With Jet Airways

Story Of A Foreigner

My brother was in Gulf and his boss a project manager from Aramco (biggest petroleum company of the world) was

visiting India to get cure for his asthma problem. All children of him, having this problem. Its really pity. We should be thankful to God and pray to God all the time.

My Assignment

To make this story move along, I like to mention here the important point, which is, I was with this person through out his visit because my brother ask me to accompany him. I and one of my friend was with him almost two days. That is where my first experience of Jet Airways was came into picture, and first time I realize what is meant by customer service

Pathetic Behavior

It was in after noon when this man told me that I want to have some changes in my flight schedules. The changes suppose to be made with Indian Airlines. So we went Indian Airlines office. It was crowded as usual. By seeing the rush he got surprise and thought if he can talk to manager directly, he might be help him. But believe me he was totally wrong about his opinion and that manager from Indian Airlines abused him in front of all people so badly that this man became scared.

He become too much angry and he told us that he want to leave this office right now and never come back again. Then he told us to find out another domestic airlines. I and my friend are not having any experience in handling this type of matters. Any how we talk to one or two travel agencies and we figure out that there is a Jet airways office little far away from our place in the same city. So we proceeded there.

Impressive Atmosphere

When we enter it was an excellent atmosphere in the office with brand new staff of lovely ladies and sophisticated gentlemen were sitting in calm and cool environment. Really it is a great feeling to be there in Jet Airways office it was totally in blue color scheme. Where as Indian Airlines office which is total in red which reflects the anger.

We approach to one of the counter with great enthusiasm. In my heart I was feeling that this is the place we will get whatever we are looking for. A new mood and glow was reflecting on the face of that man who was with us.

After some conversation with Jet Airways staff which is very cool and soft we able to make changes to his schedule according to his choice. This is where I realizes the sheer experience of customer care from the Jet Airways office staff and customer satisfaction by seeing this person’s face. He was more than happy. I don’t have words to express that feeling. Believe me I am feeling proud of it as an Indian.

Dream Comes True

At that time I wished I should also fly with this person to have the on-board services experience of Jet Airways. My dream comes true after four years when I have to fly with Jet Airways.

Second Experience With Jet Airways

When I arrive with my newly wed wife to India after 3 years from Gulf to attend my brothers marriage. We got the domestic connecting flight as Jet Airways. And I found after four years the same extra ordinary service from this airways when I arrive on the Bombay International Airport. I can feel its high quality services from the ground only.

When I came out from Bombay international airport to go to Sahara domestic airport, the Jet Airways staff was welcoming to the connecting flight passenger for Jet Airways. Then they show us the direction where the luxury bus with AC was waiting for us. Along with the bus there were two baggage handling persons waiting to take care of our baggage.

A Great Escape

In between two guys in the metropolitan city try to cheat us but all of a sudden we found that the Jet Airways special inspectors came along for our risk , just like wounded Sunny Deol. This is really extra ordinary service. I hate this situation and was praying to God that this transition period from international airport to domestic airport should be without any hurdle. It is vital period for the non bombayties.

Well Organized

We boarded the bus and landed on Sahara domestic airport. Where again I found a great example of ground service provided by Jet Airways. They ask all passengers to bring trolley and appear in one parallel line along with bus in front of baggage cabin. Those persons are removing bags one by one and asking the owners of the bag to identify and bring the trolley closer to them where they arranging the bag on trolley and move on. We can rarely witness such discipline in India. I might be wrong !!!

Then we enter into the airport and found that Jet Airways staff guiding towards their counter. At the boarding counter again we witness the same perfection. They provided us the boarding cards and checked in our luggage. Its really ignite my feelings and now I am more curios to board the flight. But I have to wait for 5 hours to feel that experience.

Classic Experience

At last I was experiencing the high class service on board also. Starts from marvelous smiles on entrance of the flight and a helping hand in adjusting our hand carries, again all blue interiors of flight creating a cool atmosphere inside.

After the flight takeoff they first welcome us with a freezing white towel to clean the faces and make fresh. Which really removes the strain of 24 hours long journey. After a short while they brought delicious break fast well organized in a tray with a napkin of cloth with Jet Airways logo on it.

Then we got a small nap till we landed at our destination. It was really a pleasant journey all together. I really appreciate Jet Airways. Finally the other members who had the Jet Airways flying experience will definitely agree with me.
