Over the years Jet has engineered a journey to hell for poor suckers who book tickets on their own online, making it my last option now.
But given tickets are available late only confirms that the last option thing is true for most passengers!
Two months ago I made a booking for my wife and realised shortly after(within a few hours) that I had a mistake and tried to change it online but the site didn't allow it. I called the call centre and they too couldn't! I was advised to write a mail to no avail. Calls to the call centre were also not fruitful. So I kissed my money sweet goodbye.
Today I tried to change the intra day timing of the outward flight(of a return ticket costing ?4747 incl taxes etc of ?1647) and was told the modification fee for the same would be ?3100 plus taxes plus a fare difference.
When I pointed out it is cheaper for me to have a no show(a security risk) on the outward sector and buy a new outward ticket, they couldn't comprehend and typically said these were the rules!
Given how anti customer they are they deserve their losses and a fate headed towards an early business closure.
