Fraud and Cheating by Jet Airways. Review on Jet Airways

This is with immense dispair and mental agony that I am writing to you as I feel cheated by such a reputed company.

I had booked my flight tickets through your company for Thiruvananthapuram on 10th November 2016 with Flight 9W388 & Seat numbers 41E & 41F. We reached the international airport at 5.20 am.

On reaching we checked in and were provided our boarding passes for me and my wife.

As checked with the counter personnel, the flight had not yet departed and informed us to hurry to the respective gate.

Upon reaching the gate, I was dumb-founded and struck with horror when the personnel informed us that the flight had already departed even after receiving a text message that the flight departure time is 06: 24 am and still the gate is shut. I asked for alternate option they informed that I will be accommodated in next flight but I need to pay additional amount INR. 4000/- for 2 passengers.

I discussed this situation with my family and came to a decision to pay Rs. 4000/- and shall deal with this issue later but when I reached the Jet airways counter to make the payment the personnel denied stating I and my wife could not be accommodated in next flight and instead they asked me to pay additional INR 30, 000/- ( 2 passengers) for new booking.

I could not react and had to return back as I had to reach my destination as soon as possible hence I had to opt for train.

When I asked for my luggage to be returned back then your personnel Mr. Jijo informed that my luggage has been loaded in the previous flight and we shall have to wait for it be returned.

I was kept waiting for my luggage for more than 3 hours.

It is quite surprising that if my left had already departed then how my luggage was checked in into the flight and if the flight had not departed then why I was not allowed to board the flight even after receiving the boarding passes.

The only reason I had put in my hard earned money to book the flight as I had urgent obligations to attend at the destination which was ruined by your travel company.

I want my full money returned back to me along with a compensation of Rs. 40000/- and this is going to be my first and final mail to you wherein I will not waste my time chasing you guys for a refund.

If I am not refunded then I shall be filing a legal case with the consumer court and disclose this fraudulent practice all over social media where I have been duped and cheated by providing me a boarding pass but not allowing me to check in.

And all the proof will be produced in consumer court.
