Recently just one month back I and my entire family around 12 people were traveling from Bangalore International airport to Lucknow on march 4th 2017. It was my marriage in Lucknow on 5th march 2017 and everyone was happy and excited.
We had our flight at morning 7 am. we reached there by 5:30 am and also checked in their by 5:45 at the counter.
They welcomed us and asked us to show our tickets, also we handed over all the luggage. Everything went smoothly up to handling our luggage.
A lady over there started telling we have a printing issue kindly wait for a while, we waited for ten min, by 6 they are telling we can give you a boarding pass for only two persons, rest has to take new tickets, for asking reasons they are telling the computer system has been locked. I was shocked by hearing this. who made us wait for 10 to 15 min? it was them and finally telling boarding pass cannot be issued as the system is locked.
My question to them was if you are able to give boarding pass for two persons why not for everyone?
and we had time till 6:15 because boarding pass will be issued until there is 45 min time left for the departure of a plane.
same questions were asked several times, The Luggage person who waited and took our luggage told that ma'am you have come early itself, they are cheating you and told to meet the Manager and finally I met Jet Airways manager and told, I requested him that my marriage is there tomorrow please show some mercy and at least please provide me some other options to travel. The manager was Mr. Sujith in Bangalore Airport. He did not help us in anyways.
He just told we can't do anything, it's your mistake of coming late to the airport. I told him from 5:45 we are waiting here, he didn't listen to my one word also.
That day nobody helped me. Finally, with two boarding passes me and my mom traveled and managed to reach Lucknow leaving behind all my relatives.
My Jiju finally from his credit card purchased tickets for rest of the members from Indigo for the next flight and finally everyone attended my marriage. but we had to waste lakhs together of money this time.
This review I am writing because please don't ever take flight tickets from Jet Airways, they just cheat us so that we can buy tickets again from them or they may ask us to pay extra. They sell our tickets to some other customers at last moment to make money I think.
people during such situations spend money because it will be necessary. That day at least they would have given some other options to travel in their different connecting planes at least but they just insisted on taking new tickets again, but this time we took tickets from different Airways.
So please beware of Jet Airways who are just trying to cheat us like this.
