Its a well known fact that jet airways is always affordable when it comes to economy class and if you'd ask me whether is it worth paying that extra penny to go air or spicejet? It's a big NO from my side. The service is almost the same then why to pay extra?
I had booked flight for me and my family 3 months prior our plan and got a huge discount on the fare and booking via cleartrip app helped me get 1000 bucks extra discount.
I had booked a return trip so it costed me even less. Roughly somewhere around 2000 per person. So ideally if your looking to travel by flight book it 3 months prior your plan.
Now coming to the experience:
Everything went on very smoothly and staff treated me quite politely. It was my first experience and it was a good experience for me.
I checked in with comfort then selected my choice of seat but as I arrived late I couldn't get my desired seats. So it's advisable to check in early to get the preferred seats.
We had carry bags so we didn't have to pass it through the heavy check. After the final check we were shown the gate from where we could board the bus that would take us to our flight.
Once we got into the flight the attendants welcomed us and were very helpful.
Check-In Counter: It was very systematic at the check-in counter. The girl at the counter helped me with where do I go next.
Flight Attendants: As mentioned earlier the flight attendants were very polite and always ready to help.
Seating Space: Somehow I didn't like the seating space as it was a bit cramped up. The guy sitting besides me was a very bulky person so he was occupying the hand rest.
Punctuality: While departure the plane took off 30 mins late as the flight was at 3 pm and on arrival there were some technical faults as the runway in Mumbai was overcrowded hence affecting all other flights so that was ok on their behalf because we weren't the only ones who suffered the delay.
Final Verdict: All in all it was a great experience flying first time and Jet Konnect provided good service. As of I know Jet Konnect are the only ones who provide meal while travelling from Mumbai to Goa.
