I may seem right for the budget at the beginning. The customer service department was fairly quick to solve the IT issue regarding the charge for reprinting E-ticket.
I was on 9W 69 & 9W 232 from Bangkok to Amsterdam(Via Mumbai). The ticket costs me 21100 Thai baht which is perhaps too expensive if you have to wait 8hours in Mumbai. The flights were on time for both flights.
A upgrade to Business class is available at 6700Thai baht.
Jet airways staff look a lot younger compared to that of Air India, and I saw that many of Air India flights were delayed. The time spent at the check-in counter took around 5 minutes, and I am quite happy with that.
If you are lucky, you can fly with A330-200( the configuration is 2-4-2 and the seat, and legroom is really comfortable. If not, you end up with B737-800.
The public announcement is also made in Thai. However, the seats on the 777 is a bit smaller, and again aisle seats should be avoided when you select the seat.
The food was a combination of Indian and Thai food on Bangkok to Mumbai route(wit the choice of Vegetarian and non Vegetarian) . The breakfast served before landing at Schiphol was not so good. What to be improved is the lack of hot towel in economy class.
What I love the most was the in-flight entertainment. There are plenty of Hindi and other regional Indian movies with English subtitle.
At Schiphol, you will see 3 Jet airways aircrafts parked just to each other as Amsterdam becomes its new European Hubs. But it seems that Jet Airways focuses heavily on Indian Passengers(Not European customers or North American customers), maybe because they can fill the flights to and from Toronto anyway?).
