Dear Flyers
This is Srikanth from Coimbatore. My experience with Jet Airways started in 2014, with my trip from Bombay to Coimbatore.(BOM-CJB). As I am a die hard of Boeing, I used to fly with Jet/Spicejet which uses Boeing aircrafts primarily. My trip with Jet Airways started with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Reached Coimbatore in 1 hour 15 minutes eventhough ticket says flying hours is 1 hour 50 minutes. Thanks for their Swift attitude.
Checkin:
Ground staff was kind enough and preferable seat is assured if we report early. They even once tagged my baggage with priority on courtesy basis. There is a good customer service until we board the aircraft.
In flight experience:
Crew was also very kind with a smiling face always. Attends customers then and there with a humble manner. Since Jet airways is a full service carrier, they offer in flight meals/Snacks depends upon the flying hours.
Overall experience:
As its a full service carrier, fares may be a bit higher than other low cost carriers. But still it is worth for what we pay. They offer special fares as low as 1100 rupees inclusive of all taxes for short trips. But we should visit their sites frequently to get their offers. In past 3 years I have travelled many times with Jet airways from Chennai(MAA) to Coimbatore(CJB) in their ATR 72 Propeller aircraft. ATR is well and good for short distance which is less than an hour. I didnt face any kind of delays or cancellations with Jet. I would definitely recommend for my friends and relatives.
