We purchased a car from them a Hyundai getz which we booked with them on 31 May 2006 and paid them Rs5000/- booking amount on the same day.heir sales person Asha Patel told us that car wl be coming

to Mumbai within 6-7 days. We have the foll serious complaints against them:- 1)When we went to collect the car end June 2006 in their Prabhadevi office we spent around 90 minutes in their office.
We asked Asha Patel 5 times for cold drinks which she refused on the grounds that they donot serve cold drinks.We bloody pay them 5.5 lakhs for a car and they bloody cant give us cold drinks of Rs20/-!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2)3-4 days before taking delivery of the car,we saw ad in the paper by Hyundai saying they were giving free MP3 player with every hyundai getz purchased from them between 3 June 2006 and mid July 2006.We called their office and told them as per the scheme we wanted the MP3 Player.
Their Asha Patel told us that since she had already agreed to gift us certain accessories they cannot give us MP3.We told her we wl pay for the accessories but need MP 3 and since we had not collected the car yet(we were to do it after 3-4 days) this shd not be a problem.She pointblank refused at this and told us to talk to their Guarang Shah/Shah pointblank also refused to do this although he had no valid reason.He claimed we booked the car 31 May before the scheme but the car was delayed by them and delivered to us endJune within the period of the scheme and therefore it was totally within our rights to get free MP3 player .
We even complained to Hyundai Mumbai’s Deepak Raiana aabout this and he said he would speak to Gaurang Shah and have this done.When we spoke to Gaurang Shah again he refused again very roughly when we told himm to talk to Raina of Hyundai Mumbai.Wehad to collect the car as delivery was already so late but very very clearly Jaybharat has cheated us of MP3 player which their principals hyundai advertised widely inthe press. 3)Once the car had arrived in their Cotton Green warehouse prior to delivery to us ,we told Asha Patel we wanted the car inspected by our man prior to registration.Asha Patel gave us a date of 21 June 2006 to go and see the car and it would be ready.
When we went there,their factory Manager Mahesh palav told us he was surpriased to see us as he had not received any instructions from the Prabhadevi office that we were coming to inspect.We wasted 2 hrs for him to get the car ready fro inspection all due to Jaybharat’s sheer negligence.When we raised this pointwith guarang Shah right at that point from Cotton Green Wareghouase ,leave alone apologising ,he started houwling at us. 4)We took delivery of the car from their Prabhadevi office end June 2006.A few minutes before taking delivery we todl Asha Patel clearly that the Teflon treatement was not upto required standard.On the way to our home we showed the car to our expert who also agreed teflon was not done properly.Withinm 1 hr of taking the car from Jaybharat we spoke to them saying teflon was not ok at all and needed to be done again.(mind you we have a warranty of 1 yr free teflon).
She pointblank refused to do it which makes nonsense of the 1 yr waraanty when they are not willing to honour the commitment inm 1 hr also!With great difficulty we finally had it done. We raised all this points in a feedback form we received from Hyundai ,Delhi a month ago.They forward this to Hyundai mumbai and inspitr of repated attempts by us to contact their Ashish Kaul of hyundai Mumbai,he has refused to contact us back as promised which proves beyond doubt that hyundai is hand-in-glove with their dealers to cheat their customers.
Mentioned below is a letter I have sent to Hyundai Delh,Hyundai Mumbai and Jaybharat yesterday hyundai Mumbai’s tel no is 40969000 "4 Oct 2006 To:-Hyundai ,New Delhi Fax 011-41678811 CC Hyundai ,Mumbai Fax 40969030 CC Jaybharat Automobiles Ltd,Mumbai Fax 24212779 Re:-Irresponsible and pathetic setrvice by Jaybharat as well as cheating by Jaybharat It is indeed a pity that Jaybharat is refusing to reply to 3 of the 4 points we listed in our letter to you.They are just dumb shut on that.As regards the MP3 player,the facts are all in my letter of 28 Sept 2006 for which Jaybharat has no reply. What is sad is the attitude of yr own company towards this complaint.Yr Ashish Kaul from Hyundai Mumbai has not contacted us inspite of repeated calls to him,as mentioned already in our letter 28 Sept 2006.Why do you send us feedback forms is you care a damn for yr customers?It is proved beyond doubt that it is with the full support of yr company that agents like Jaybharat harass and cheat customers like us. We wl discuss more on this thru the Mumbai press.
