I have used this soap off and on for about 7 - 10 years. It has a nice scent and rinses clean. After a while I gotten sick of the scent of the soap. But on occasions, I would return to this soap for old times sake. It doesn’t make me itch, which is a good thing. It does make my skin somewhat dry but thats when I use water that is hotter than what some folks use to make tea/coffee *lol*.


I would not recommend it on the face because it is rather ’’heavy’’ and it tends to make your face feel dirty. Plus I can’t recommend anyone doing that for most bath bars unless you had a positive reaction to it.


My friend who has the most sensitive skin I have ever seen only uses this soap and she takes showers that can boil most skin off. I know she is a strange bird *lol*. I would highly recommend this soap to almost anyone. Thankfully Irish Spring created a variety of their line to feel free to test it out.
