Before starting, I shall tell you that Im not a tech freak. I wanted a simple webcam, to be attached with my laptop for cam chatting purposes. Managed to get a night vision intex cam for 750 bucks from a comp shop in Vashi, Mumbai.The cam is no doubt great value for money.
The night vision thing works with the help of six LEDs which are attached in a 3 by 3 formation on either side of the lil cam opening. How these work is simple : Say the lights of the room are on, the cam will work normally. As soon as you switch off the room lights, the LEDs light up on their own and vice versa. The Image quality was good with the room lights off and just the LEDs lightning up ur face. the only prob is that they just light up your face, thats it. But for 750 bucks, it is a lot of stuff for ur money.
