Interpreter of Maladies - Jhumpa lahiri

Its a compilation of few of the best short stories i have ever read. Its a dedication to the Bengal culture and talks about how bengalis living across the
world, react about india and what impressions do indians leave on people across the globe.
Its interesting, its lively, its eluring and something for every person to read. I like her usage of words and the simple way in which she continues to pull the readers to her upcoming lines.

She has been awarded the Pulitzer prize for the fiction category for this book and definitely worth her efforts. Its amazing how someone can talk of a very normal subject, a part of our day to day lives so beautifully. Jhumpa Lahiri has the talent.
Interpreter of maladies is an interpretation of your life, my life and everyone around us. So simple, yet so well scripted.
