Tried "Innovative Film City"(Bangalore) for the second time today. Thoroughly disappointed!
I don't remember if it was so bad when I visited it first time. I guess no.(Otherwise I wouldn't have visited it again!)
Main problem: Most of the rides/ attractions were closed/ under maintenance.
We all understand a theme park will have some routine maintenance work or other throughout the year. But here, the entire theme park seems to be under maintenance. 70% of the places were either dirty or incomplete or not working or a combination of all these.(The other 30% which worked, were below average/ not impressive).
All the shops in their canteen seem to sell food items at prices which are greater than MRP. When we ask for the reason, they simply say'this is our price, take it or leave it'.
Given the fact that the theme park doesn't allow any food items to be carried inside, do we have a choice?
To summarise, In tamil we have a word for Innovative Film city, 'Vaazhnthu Ketta Veedu'. I don't know how this theme park is surviving in Bangalore.
Avoid, at any cost.
