I have done a lot of research on this incident. First the attack on the hospital is despicable and illegal. Based on what I know so far the people who did this are not relatives of late Mr Jain but some other goons who took advantage of the anger of Mr Jains relatives with the hospiatl mgmt.

Now some facts about the death of Mr J.C. Jain, one of the reviwers had called it Mr Jain's fault as he refused to take some medication. This is complete BS. The fact is that Mr Jain was being discharged from the hospital and was told that he if fit to go home and just go a diet to get his weight under control. Dr Vaishnav(the phyisician treating Mr Jain) completely misread Jain's condition. After Mr Jain was admitted to the hospital and during his 2 day stay there, his ECG came abnormal twice, he also reported breathlesness and dizziness. Based on this and Mr Jain being overweight and his family history which Dr Vaishnav was fully aware of, he should have been referred to a heart specialist for a possible TMT test and maybe angiography. Instead Dr Vaishnav ignored, the ECG results and said that they were abnormal because of high blood pressure. Dr Vaishnav has himself acknowledged that he did misread the situation.

Mr Jain's family has taken all the reports and test results done on Mr Jain while he was at Indogulf and consulted with 2 senior cardiologists(one at Apollo and the other at heart institute), Both of these cardiologists have said that based on Mr Jains test results he should have been referred to a cardiologist as it was pretty clear that the heart may be mal functioning. Both these cardiologits also opined that the majority of the tests performed on Mr Jain were totally useless and unrelated to his medical condition. They were done solely with the intention of making money for the hospital as the doctor knew that Mr. Jain works for NOIDA authority and so the bill will be paid by NOIDA.

Now some more facts. As one of the other reviewers mentioned that Mr Jain was given CPR for 2 hours, this is true. however what is not written by this reviewer is that Mr Jain had a heart attack around 5pm in the evening and they started giving him this CPR around 6:15 pm. The reason is that they were waiting for Dr Vaishnav to come and it took him about 90 minutes to arrive. In his absence the doctor on duty and other staff were busy cleaning his puke and stuff but were not able to provide the dying Mr Jain with CPR. His son was running around call Dr Vaishnav to get theri ASAP and he kept telling him that he was on his way and not to worry.

So the bottom line with this whole incident is

Indogulf is ok for getting a patient some first aid and id also a decent lab for doing tests but it is not at all equipped to treat patients with serious conditions like heart disease etc.

It is true that patients die all the time at hospitals but that does not mean that all doctors and hospitals be given a free pass and not held accountable for their mistakes. Based on all the facts from Mr Jain's case it is clear that had he been referred in time to a good cardiologist and sent to any decent hospital, his life could have been saved. If any of you reading this review think that I have any vested interest in letting this hospital down then I want to assure you that I have all the facts and reports to prove what I have written. I can email you with pertinent info that would prove this.

My only agenda is to hold the hospital accountable for it's negligence. I don not want any other patinet to go through this kind of an experience. So I hope this makes a difference.
