hello everyone,


i had a chance to fly Indigo airlines from Delhi
to Bangalore in the month of dec,with the Indigo flight 6E 133 del-blr
Departing at 9:45 pm. and arriving at 12:05 am.


i booked the tickets through their website 2 months well in advance..

Ticket Booking: Since i don’t have a credit card yet! i had to borrow one of my Friend’s credit card to book it.

their
website was highly simple and easy to navigate.. they even let me
choose the seat at the time of the booking it self.. that too for free..

in spice jet they charge 25/- rupees to for advance seat booking...

and the tickets were confirmed and i took a print out of the itinerary copy..

At the Airport:As
soon as i arrived at the airport ,90 mins prior to the departure the
check in staff members helped me to put my baggages to scanning and ..they
carried it to the check in counter by themselves! they were highly
Courteous ..the person there asked me for the credit card through which
the tickets were booked ..i produced the xerox copy..and in no time my
boarding pass was issued..it was quite good...

i was done with the
all the security checks and 15 mins prior to the departure they
announced that passengers are requested to board the aircraft!...

Boarding: I was very happy that the boarding was taking place right on schedule..

Another Pleasant surprise to me, were  the buses ,,  that  take the passengers to the aircraft...

Even the buses had an indicator,indicating the flight no.  Source and destination (Delhi-Bangalore)

and the buses were fully air conditioned ..since it was a little chilly out side..it was moderate in side the bus..
Inside the Aircraft:
Oh yes! we were there parked near our Hawai Jahaz (Aircraft) and what a
sight it was! Brand new Airbus A-320 with Blue decor and sparkling
clean..with Flashing lights!

and another Convenience was , the mode to
go inside the plane,,they were not regular stairs,which many Senior
people struggle to climb..they were sort a like  inclined stairs which
were inclined abt 20 degrees to the ground,,so it was neither too steep
nor too deep ...i thought it was an excellent idea...

Smiling Air hostess welcomed me in,and helped me find my seat..

even inside the aircraft it was awesome.. it was an absolute delight just to be there..
Take off :  At
exact 9:44 the aircraft started moving to the runway..air hostess were
doing the usual safety drills but they were extremely attentive to it!

and at 9:48 we Lifted off the ground ..take off was extremely smooth.. and had a minimal cabin noise..

Capt Pankaj kept us well informed every 25 mins abt the airspeed,visibility,Altitude ,the City we’re flying above..
Food Servings: after abt 40 mins the air hostesses started serving the food ... I mean started selling them :))

i was a little hungry, thought i should grab a sandwich..but the prices were outrageous ...

.A Sandwich costed 100, a pack of 2 Cookies costed 45..A Bottle ofLemon Juice(180 ml) costed 50..

i
thought the prices of all the food items were too costly..so i just
bought a pack of cookie and a lemon juice..
Landing &At BLR airport: and it was abt 11:45  the aircraft started Descending,

at abt 12:06 the plane landed at HAL Bangalore! the landing was the smoothest i ever Experienced!..

the plane was parked near the boarding gate it self ..so there was no need for the buses..the baggages were out in lees than a minute,and the baggages were intact..

At the airport the an indigo staff member helped me to carry the baggage !!  i thanked him for that !

Overall it was a good experience .. i wouldn’t mind flying with them again


But
since i found that most of the people now a days are writing so many
negative reviews on this airline..but most of them are for the most
common reasons..so i have some guidelines that might make your trip
successful

#1 Have 2 copies of the itinerary ..and write down the pnr
in your diary or save it in your mobile(they actually send an sms of
the itinerary when you book the ticket)

#2 if you’re booking through
the credit card make sure you carry the card,or photocopy of it duly
signed by the card holder (Have 2 copies of them)

#3 make sure you carry a photo identity like passport,PAN card,Election id,or your id from your company

#4Report at the airport 2 hrs prior its always better that way,especially in cities like BLR,DEL,BOM..

#5 keep your perfume,facial cream,toothbrush,paste,soap,in the check in baggage...

while booking at their website in the final step,where you’re asked to
agree to the terms and conditions,please review your travel
details,like flight no.date,the departure time spellings of the
passenger’s name ..review these at least three times..because i actually
paid them 750 just because i chose the wrong flight..

#7 The baggage! yes i’ve seen this is a mjor issue ; they allow a Check-in baggage of abt 20kg,and hand baggage of abt 10 kgs,so please be sure abt this..
#8Never use indigo or any LCC’s for your International Flight connections..or Buisness Trips or for Urgent Meetetings..
#9Keep your valueables such as Money Jewellery,Mobile phones,Laptop ,with you in your Hand baggage.
#10Have a positive attitude that you’ll catch the plane and everything will be fine..

even if you get negative self talk in your mind,,,say it out loud to yourself or to someone that your tip will be successful..
