My experience with these guys has been really bad. I had travelled with them before but had no great hassles. I think things are OK if everything works out fine. If there is a hitch, the be prepared for
the most bitter experience. I tried making a booking on their website. It might have been my mistake or theirs, but I ended up with a booking for 4th Nov instead of 4th Dec. I called in a minute of the confirmation screen but I was told not so courteously that I will have to sheel out some fare difference (for the same flight on a different day), which is understandable, but also 750/- per head as rescheduling fee. The amount quoted itself works out to be as much as a new flight booking in a competitor. I made requests to the customer service person and the arrogance with which she answered and the curt responses I got, really made me wonder if I am talking to customer service at all.
I cancelled the flight decding I did not want to travel Indigo and expected a refund. But then I get a mail that the money (after deducting 750/- per head as cancellation fee) would be held with Indigo till I decide to travel again witht them. I mailed their customer relations telling them I had no intention of flying Indigo again and would prefer my money back and I get a response that in a bid to supposedly ensure "consistently affordable fares, every day." they charge money for cancellations (I dont have a problem with that), but also retain the refund amount till you book your next flight. Obviously one of their fine print agreement that runs into pages and they very well know that no one reads. I am not torn in my hatred of flying Indigo again to losing out on the refund amount.
