Can I just say, just having flown Indigo from Chennai to Kolkata (for the first time)  that this airline is GREAT! Everything about it - the blue decor, the brand new plane, the little scarf the airhostesses were wearing - is just great. The flight was on time, the buses were big, the hostesses were smiling (one of them even pushed open the door to the toilet for me!). When we landed, even the signs in the bus were flashing "Welcome to Kolkata" - a very nice touch, and one that’ll make me remember them.  I can recommend this airline more than Air Deccan who we took from Kolkata TO Chennai, and whose planes fly just fine (and on time, at least when we took them), but whose website is a ripoff of Ryanair’s (a foreign airline I once encountered). When we landed, the baggage men were waiting with their cart, we could see them through the window, and the cargo hold was opened almost as soon as we touched down, so our baggage came pretty quickly as well.
So - go buy yourself an Indigo ticket just for the pleasure of flying with them.
