Only thing that Indigo is punctual about is delayed flights from Delhi, the flight was late on both the occasions otherwise things seem to be perfectly normal and good which prompt you to give them a pat on their back. The long wait at the lounge does irritate the passenger a bit but the flight makes up for it. As we travel through the aero bridge or the bus we tend to really explode but the frayed nerves are soothed by the cheerful flight attendants  who welcome you with wide grins splashed across their faces. A smile really matters. They guide you properly to your seats and ensure that you are comfortably seated, something which was sorely missing in flights like Go Air and Air Deccan. The interiors of the Airbus A-320 could be described best as plush. Good seats, though the arm rests make a lot of noise (Lubrication Needed Please!!!! ). The air conditioning is commendable as you neither feel too cold or hapless too due to poor air conditioning. A short flight from Chennai to Hyderabad which I undertook takes 50 minutes and the 50 minutes just whiz past as after take-off, the pilot provides you with delicious bird’s eye view of the city and as soon as we are cruising at a good altitude, the crew comes out with the food. Although the cost of the food is on the higher side, they provide you with a cute little bottle of water FREE OF COST! A single class airliner like Indigo ought ot be full in the summer, i dont know what the reason could be but it could be the poor response one elicits from the staff at the booking counters who either need to take the phone and cross check every process or ask all those who are present in that tiny cubicle to confirm every process. You are doing a job and GOD you need to know what you are doing. You just cant irritate the prospective customer. If you do expect a comfortable flight without any glitches bar delay and some good food aboard at reasonable prices ( Airport and Airline Standard) then Indigo should be your pick.

P.S: Their sandwiches rock at Rs.75/ two pieces.
