My BLR-DEL flight No. 6E946(for 2 Adults, 2 Children), PNR: B3T88Y, dated 18th June, was at 7:00 PM.
I reached the check-in counter at 6:30 PM but was not allowed to board this flight and was offered to board the next flight 6E572 at 7:55 PM by paying the difference amount.
I had already paid Rs 16, 256 for the 7 PM flight and was asked to pay an ADDITIONAL amount of Rs 27, 682 as the difference amount.
At that point of time, a fresh ticket(with Indigo Airlines) for 4 people was also available for around Rs 27, 000.
How come Indigo has then charged me Rs 27, 682 as the difference amount? So overall I had to pay Rs 44, 000 for the 7:55 PM(BLR-DEL) flight which till 7 PM was available for around Rs 27, 000.
First of all, Indigo could have allowed us to on-board the 7 PM flight. Secondly, why were we overcharged in the name of difference amount(for the 7:55 PM flight) when a fresh ticket was available at the same price? If this is not cheating what else is this?
