Indigo has become robbers/looters who rob innocent people's hard earned money.
Trip 1: My parents who are senior passengers traveled from Dehradun to Bangalore with the same luggage smoothly in Indigo only. 4 days later, while going back from Bangalore to Dehradun, they were well in time for their 21st Nov 1:30 pm flight. They did check-in their luggage and completed security check 1 hour 30 minutes in advance. They were sitting right next to the boarding gate the entire 1.5 hours. When the boarding started they got in the queue and when their turn came, Indigo staff told them that they can't board the flight. Why? Because they have Power bank in their checked-in luggage. Indigo said that have called the passenger's number but that was not picked. How many times they tried calling? ONCE.
I understand you have a rule for passenger's safety or whatever. BUT you didn't confirm with passenger while he/she is checking in. You couldn't try calling or reaching them even once.
After all that they are telling that you will get a flight for the NEXT day by paying a HUGE amount of money since that was the last flight till Dehradun. Only if they would have tried finding the passenger, the passenger could have taken the power bank and kept it in hand baggage. But why would do that? This is the'Dhanda' they have to extract hard-earned money of innocent people. Any passenger who have checked-in would want to board the flight and reach the destination. Indigo tries to find reasons so that the person can't board the flight and rather buy next flight so that they can make HUGE sum of money. Indigo should be penalized for doing this illegal robbery and not being customer-centric at all. I want full refund for flight tickets.
This is very unfair and Indigo must return my full amount.
Trip 2: You reach Indigo counters an hour in advance then also you might not get the boarding pass. That is their another way of making money. They can say you are 2 min late and the counters have been closed. Only they have a Clock Tower in their head which no one can view. I know this is for punctuality. But we have seen so many cases where the staff asks passengers to wait and the airport authorities doesn't take any pain to streamline the entire process.
