I placed order of canon camera OD # 300520080297 for Rs.
18030/- and paid it through credit card through internet.

confirmation mail came to me regarding my purchase.

After sometime another mail from authorization@indiaplaza.in came to me
shockingly asking me to send scanned copy of my credit card saying that it is
for the safety of the Customer Information. I have used my credit card 100’s of
time on internet but this is the first time that someone is asking directly to
send crucial information’s related to credit card in scanned format so that it could
be transferred to 100 of customer care executives who all will get the crucial
informations. I asked customer care that this is illegal and they said without
this they will not send the product to me. I asked whether I can send the
ration card copy or pan card copy for my ID. They denied. Asking for the
scanned copy of credit card after doing transactions is very much disgusting as
there is nowhere mentioned in indiaplaza that they will follow this for what
they say "SAFETY OF CUSTOMER" by taking all the details of credit
card. CVV number is only of 3 digits. i.e upto 999 . Anyone can get this little
information by hook or crook and u have lost your complete information for the
world to use your credit card. I recommend not to purchase anything from
indiaplaza using your plastic money.
