For all those readers who don’t like to read long stuff,

let me summarize the entire review- indiaplaza sends used products, has delivery problems and very bad customer support

A few of my collegues had bought some items from this website for the convenience of home delivery as they were about the same rate on the market or cheaper. So I too tried to get a few things.

First of all. I ordered a few gift certificates for my friends so they could purchase the items on their own from the site. I waited patiently but alas.. No timely delivery. I had to send them a mail to ensure that the certificates were delivered in the next 2-3 "business working days". Among the others, I have cases where the certificates have never been delivered and I have been talking with them without any acceptable response.

Unfortunately, I had also ordered a memory stick and a camera as a gift for a friend before I got to know about their delivery problems. Having faced their delivery problems once, I sent them a mail in advace to ensure the timely deilvery. The stick arrived on time but not on the name of my friend but on my name, and that too without any invoice causing acceptance problems at his office. As the camera was delayed, I sent them a mail and after 2 days of sending multiple mails and calling their customer care multiple times (you atleast need to call 4 times to their number before someone to takes the call), they tell me that they have stock problems and they might ship the camera on the next Monday. Its been a week since my friend’s birthday and he is still stuch with a memory stick instead of a camera.

Now I leave it for you to decide how whether you people want to shop at Indiaplaza

30-Jan-2008: Just an update on my experience. After all the trouble with the camera, one of my friends who had ordered the same model received it a day before I got it even though he had ordered about 3 days later. Guess he is lucky.
Now when I received the camera, the original arrangement in the box was not as it does with the usual box. Instead, all the things were just stuffed in. Whats more, when camera was opened, there were already some pictures taken with the camera. So I am really doubtful whether the products you get from Indiaplaza are actually new. There were also many pictures already present in the memory stick received taken about 2 months before I bought it.

I strongly reccommend all of you: PLEASE DO NOT BUY stuff from IndiaPlaza. I have had too many bad experiences - which cannot be a coincidence
