It’s back!  

After a gap of a year the most awaited talent hunt has begun on Sony Entertainment Television.  Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar are back, along with Hussain.  Missing or yet to be seen are Mini Mathur, Farah Khan, Udit Narayan, Alisha Chinoy and our most favourite Sonu Nigamji.

Thank God!  Anu Malik and Himesh Reshamiya have opted for 2 different talent hunts other wise it would have become more of a fighting arena than a singing competition.

This II - 4 has commenced quite differently.  Instead of Hussain and Mini running all over india, we have the contestants of II-3 who are doing their roles.  Its Chang, Deepa, and a host of others whose name i have forgotten.  Good Job - Keep it up!

The auditions - its one of the best features to look out for as we donot get to see this in other talent hunt contests.  U see a hoard of contestents lined up - some are extremely good while some actually make fall off ur chair (laughing).  Ur neighbours might think uv gone bonkers.  But if one is not interested in watching this reality show, he can just watch the audition to finalization stage.

Wails, cries, depression, hope, anxiety, bliss, contentment, amusement - u get to see all of these on the faces of contestant - u feel ur watching a soccer match.

The finalist will be pitted against each other in the coming weeks and those coming to mumbai will have a smile resembling the Sunflower when facing the sun.  I wish them all the luck.

Everything is perfect about this talent hunt.  But one thing that bites me is the voting system.  Many desirable contestants like Ankita Mishra (II-3) and N.C.Karunya (II-2) have to leave the arena even after being really deserving.
