It is good to see that Emon carried himself maturely in front of the whole world when voted out from Indian Idol in spite of his outstanding performance. On the other hand, we the people in USA and

Canada were shocked to see the degree of immaturity and impoliteness of Javed Akhtar. The old man may be a writer but it will be extremely difficult for him to become a mature, polite, and impartial human being. We felt that Javed Akhtar should have been kicked out long ago. We do not know his singing talent neither we know his knowledge about music as a whole (starting from classical, ragas, modern to rock). We felt that he has created unnecessary animosity in the program and has ruined the entire program of Indian Idol. Unnecessary punishing the talented individual seemed to us ruthless and totally uncalled for.

It is our appeal from USA and Canada that Javed Akhtar shall be removed from the Indian Idol program for good. Thank you SONY for taking the right step and steering the program in the right direction.
