All three shows are the same but the presentation is different. But what intrigues me is that all three shows have now reached the Top 10 stage . The various aspects could be compared thus:
Contestants: Although in the beginning it seemed that the quality  of contestants of Sa Re... were inferior to both the other shows now Anik and Amaanat are amongst the best in all shows. All three shows are running neck to neck in terms of the quality of contestants. Ankita of Indian Idol is a misfit having reached the final four . Emon and Amit are excellent material. Similarly in the Star Voice of India, Abhas,Sumitra, Priyani,Irfan are good contestants.

Format : Indian Idol scores over the rest with an interesting format and the best combination of anchors. The humour laced into the show and the behind the scenes activities put the show a cut above the rest. Unlike Shaan and  Aditya who are doing a fantastic job as anchors, both Mini and Hussain are anchors to the core and do the act to the hilt and seem to be enjoying the show.

Judges : This is the subject of criticism. Unlike Voice and Idol, of late the judges of Sa Re Ga Ma have taken to camaraderie and do not bicker on the sets encouraging each others participants and supporting good performances. This spirit is seen of late after Himesh has calmed down after the release of Aap Ka Suroor. In Indian Idol it is all vs all and in Star Voice it is Agni vs Prithvi and full biased comments are seen from Aadesh and Lalit whereas Alka and Abhijeet seem balanced.

All in all it has become more enjoyable now to switch channels and watch all these as all participants left are the best that could remain and will fight it out to the joy of the viewers.
