Dear sir/readers,

I Have an exhaustive experience of travel all over the world . I’m quite saddened by the fact that people are quite apprehensive about our national carrier’s service without proper experiences.

I have clearly understood the economics of the airline operations across various geographies. Having flown so many times ,I would not say that Indian Airlines is bad.

As many domestic services over the world is just not comparable to the domestic airlines operating in India. IA provides quite an apt service right from the heart. Nowadays it has become quite fashionable to blame old faces serving in air!!.

Of course pleasant looks are always cherishable to the eyes , but at 37,000 ft,to any thing more than ordinary situations, only experience hands shall come to the fore. There is neither an extra cosmetic setup nor a trendy invites to a prospect customer, but the service is quite apt to the money paid. one should really rank his priorities...viz .. his need out of a service and should be happy if it is delivered. These guys go an extra-mile to help you out either at ground or in air.

But nowadays I feel their ground services are quite pathetic,like the arbitrary withdrawal of services at the most wanted service points due to poor manpower . I see the men at work in the airport areas are quite stressed and highly de-motivated as the face is the real index of a mind. whereas on the other hand the company is quite overstaffed? where is the extra flab? why doesn’t it re-size it?

Otherwise their schemes are quite competitive and quite innovative ! ...The company of two extremes!!.

I take pity on this airline as most of the time it has become a holy cow for the politicians who rule the airlines to their whims and fancies. But IA is the only airline which really woke up to the national disasters either let it be Andaman or Gujarat.

They operated as many services (not just one or to for a public eyewash) , brushing aside its losses due to these operation with no government support at all. perhaps this is the only airline to accept human remains or a stretcher passenger for a very nominal amount unlike private carriers which do not even entertain this.

Why I like this airline is just because Im quite convinced that this airline will service me not only when I’m alive but also when I’m dead.

Let’s hope the hopes.
