The first time i got an opportunity to fly IA was last year on Pune - Mumbai sector. Unfortunately only IA is operational on this route. That too one flight a day.
I somehow managed to book my ticket online after the website failed to respond for the first 2 times.
When i packed my bag & was just about to leave for the airport, i got a sms saying the flight is delayed by 45 mins.
I started again after 30 mins and after reaching half way to the airport i received another sms informing that th flight was delayed by another 30 mins.
As soon as i reached the airport i received another sms saying that the flight has been further delayed by 30 mins.
Thank god we were allowed to sit and wait in the lounge. I had no other option but to wait and have a pint of beer and wait.
Finally the flight which was scheduled to take off at 10:50 am took off at 4:14 pm.
I do not know if it is always like this or mine was an exception.
Thankfully i did not have an appointment or meeting.
Rest of the things are ok, cabin crew was warm and polite

Food was ok.
The airline has definitely improved as compared to what i heard about IA from my friends earlier.
Can try out. Except the delays in schedule.
