This is one of the cheapest airlines in India but that doesn’t mean the service also should be cheap.

Well it’s our “National Airlines” do I have to say how they have to be good to our own people?

As a kid I always thought of flying alone as a matured girl but never got a chance. But finally one-day I got a chance to go along with my aunt to Delhi we were going to come back in 2-3 days but because of my aunts pregnancy problem she had to stay back and because of my schooling problem my aunt decided to send me back alone.

As I was seven years old everybody was tense by sending me alone. After thinking a lot about which Airlines they should send me they decided to send me by Indian Airlines because they thought it was our own Airline and they could take much good care of mine.

Finally the day came and my uncle and few family members came to drop me at the airport. When I checked in the flight I had one hand bag. When I asked one of the Airhostess to keep the bag she literally snatched it from my hand (may be she was too busy to help)

There are so many people who send their old parents, young children’s in our own National Airline thinking they will be in safe hands.

An old lady was quite upset and was looking out for her seat instead of helping her to find her seat one of the airhostess just shouted at her for standing in between. Coincidentally the old lady’s seat was next to me. Poor female she was flying for the first time and was upset she asked for a glass of water and the airhostess replied, just now you have entered and started, have some patience and we will serve you (this conversation was in Hindi) Is this called caring?

Ok everything was settled. After half-hour they announced that the flight would be delayed for 15 minutes due to some mechanical problem. After 30 minute one more announcement and everybody was shocked we had to get down from the plane for some problem in the Aircraft. We were not aware of what was going wrong. Everybody was at the airport again (back in action.) No body was there to guide us where we have to go and what to do. Although the experience, was very strange.

The flight’s actual take off time was 4-45 a. m after getting down from the plane they announced it at 7-30 a. m than 11-00 a. m and finally we got into the plane and it took off at 4-30 p.m.

My family was waiting at Bombay airport from 7-00 a. m. they were so angry that they decided never to fly by Indian Airlines.

They should improve more. The aging airhostess looks like our mother but they can never treat anyone like their children’s or parents. In fact they should sit at home and let other youngsters take over.

They should be more polite and caring.
