Since the last month, I have been trying to pay for my order through Lufthansa Miles, and God knows how many orders I have placed all returning with the message that an error has occurred. Upon contacting their customer care team via telephone or email, you get the same old boring response that their site is making some changes and that one should try again withing 4-5 days. And mind you, this has been happening for more than a month now!!

And another shocking thing about the website is that it is rated red by Mcafee Web Advisor meaning it might be suspicious site. I have only shopped with Indiatimes like once or twice before and that was with a credit card. I was delighted that they have teamed up with Lufthansa for redemption of miles, but little did I know that they would never provide the customers the option to actually redeem miles on their site. And oh yea, I also contacted Lufthansa and they told me that I should contact Indiatimes, but of course, they don’t know how "HARD" Indiatimes is working to make their site alright. Alas!!

UPDATE

I tried nearly after two months or so, and the Lufthansa Miles option is working now. My miles were immediately deducted from my Miles & More Account, and it displayed a message that your miles had been redeemed successfully and that your order would be ticketed shortly. Considering the miles have been deducted from my account, I hope I receive the products in time. Will follow up with more updates here in a few days.....
