When I undertook first international journey , about 10 years back, I thought it would be a great experience. This joy was shortlived as i underwent immigration process at Sahar international airport.
After 10 years , things have changed from bad to worse and it now takes almost full one hour to pass immigration point. I wished I was in wheelchair. I do not understand why do they ask to fill up a form when all they enter is Name and passport no. in computer. They should even think of putting barcode / magnetic strip as in credit cards so that all information is quickly obtained by bar code reader or other input device and all that is required is verifying face of the passport holder with the photograph. THis should make the queue about 3-4 times faster but until this is done authorities should increase the no. of counters.
