I’ve applied for a residence visa for Australia. I want to know if anyone of you has also applied and what is the status? In my opinion it takes quite some time.The process is quite long and requires a lot of documentation. Again the verification also takes some time. In between each process, there is also some time that needs to be spent. One needs to have real patience to go though the entire procedure. The documentation required is quite elaborate and you need to be extremely careful doing the same. I had a tough time understanding the entire requirement itself. The rules also change quite often and hence you need to keep yourself, checking the Australian government websites. The information on these websites is up-to-date most of the times, but in rare instances might not be updated as well. I’m myself in search of more information right now. Moreover, one of person I came to know recently, was in Australia and says the IT jobs are not easy to get. Less jobs, more aspirants!!
