I have already wrote few reviews about IDEA 2G netsetter which of speed 230kbps(25 KBPS - Down) and upload is very poor. but I worked with that about 3.6 years at beginning it is very poor with higher cost . but after with Rs.550 recharge I have got Unlimited Acces.
I used that in HYDERABAD and VIJAYAWADA both the places I enjoyed better surfing my be with little troubles irritated me . but over all I got better portable internet connection.
Now I want to make a review on on going 3G technology. especially on IDEA 3G NETSETTER (7.2 mbps).
Yesterday (10 june 2011, Friday), I have an urgent interview face to face. I thought about to go for a net center to ask whether they have skype installed . but some of net centers denied to install (i don't know the reason).
Anyway I want to buy a wireless net as my 2g netsetter got defused. I went to buy a 3g net connection as I was impressed by the adds of many company's 3G services.
(IN VIJAYAWADA) I went to both AIRTEL AND IDEA to know any offers available. first I went to IDEA and I was impressed by them ( I will discuss about it below). and after I went to AIRTEL which is beside of it .
But this AIRTEL people never learn. because they said device with 7.2 mbps costs Rs. 2001 and package is very worst. I forgot cost but it is giving to it's beginners only 2GB for surfing. Airtel management will never learn how attract people.i think this company is doing more than enough business.
And about IDEA. 3G netsetter (7.2 mbps, E1732) which costs Rs. 2000 and you know they are giving 5GB for beginners with a Recharge of Rs. 499. what a good deal. valid upto 30 days with free sim and activation. sim no valid lifetime. I was given a demo by the franchise . I checked the speed test and got 3.6mbps download and 1.3 mbps upload.
i have purchased with proof of evidence. I purchased 3G netsetter with 5GB (total cost Rs.2500) in VIJAYAWADA. and my city is enabled with 3G services.
it took around 2 hours to activate net connection although sim activated there itself. I used it at home it got connected to HSPA IDEA network. I successfully fished my work, what I am supposed to do with that device.
At that night I downloaded oracle 11g version which is of 2GB in size and amazingly it got downloaded in just 1hr and 15 min .
you know I checked statistics and I am amazed that it going for 3.5 mbps - 5.3 mbps and sometimes it reached upto 6.2 mbps.
i wondered that whether I am in dreams . but its true. any way at last we are experiencing a better technology at-least now my be far behind the rest of world.
i am giving it with the rating of 4 STAR because there is no unlimited or any big amount of download not given. but we must consider this point. because most growing countries are using better technologies far from us.
My final word . WOW WHAT GADGET SIR JI ! WHAT A GADGET
