I have recently visited the newly built Prasads IMAX and Multiplex in hyderabad. And to simply explain the experience it a single word ...its a WOW.
Prasads is the first multiplex in Hyderabad
and first in whole of Andhra Pradesh. This multiplex boasts of first 3D Imax theatre in India. SInce I did not visit the Imax theatre I will be talking only about the multiplex. This multiplex has 4 screens with a seating capacity of 400 each.
I booked the tickets using tele booking facility. The number is quite simple to remember (its 23454545) .Each ticket costed 60 bucks. Once I reached the complex , withing 10 minutes I had tickets in my hands. The service at counters was excellent and people are well trained and polite.
The ground floor of the theatre complex has some nice showrooms like TITAN and BASICS. There are some music shops in first floor too.
As I entered the multiplex theatre the I could not stop appreciating the interior design of the theatre. Each theatre has well arranged seats with coke/popcorn holders for each seat. The leg room is not something to write about though. The seats are comfortable and the step-by-step elevated arrangement of seats ensure that there are no obstruction while viewing the screen.
The sound system and accoustics are excellent. Each theatre has DOLBY DTS EX systems for maximum viewing pleasure. The crowd is decent and over movie experience is excellent. The complex offers a parking space for around 200 cars which is cool.
It would be difficult for anyone living in Hyderabad to watch movie in any other theatre after visiting Prasads multiplex. Even for vistors to the city is place is a cool hang-out.
