i have been to imax 5-6 times and i have come back impressed every single time. and i have the added advantage of staying at chembur thats very close 2 imax.

imax is a great chilled out place guys , trust me !!!
it has 4 normal theatres and 1 dome theatre thats one of its kind in asia . u have to go there once to beleive the expierience . i saw grand canyon there and came back in a trip. the movie was a different trip alltogather not for people sufferring from motion sickness though. even a song like vande mataram at the start of the show looks mindblowing on the dome.
tickets 4 the dome though 150 bucks is money well spent .
u come out feeling thrilled and thats saying a lot.

the other 4 theatres show the normal bollywood and hollywood movies .the seats are comfortable , the halls luxurious and space for stretching ur legs awesome . besides it also has cup holders n stuff...and the sound system top class .

the cafeteria are hygenic and reasonably priced .and the staff r polite and courteous.

and most important , the toilets r squeaking clean and huge so no waiting in queues ( an added bonus )

the tickets for the movies r reasonably priced and the concept of pricing tickets lower for the matinee and first show works well . ample of parking space as well.
also it has a video game parlour..fun 4 kids n adults .and they r in the process of adding pool tables and bowling alleys ...when that happens imax will be truly rocking.

only one sore spot is the location which is way out and the roads r bad though imax provides bus services to the theatres from the eastern express highway.

i recommend it for every body from couples to families to large groups .

and yes , i went at 11 am for a 3 pm show and still managed to enjoy the wait inside.
