Well, because my company has a tie up with ING VYSYA, I had to opt for their Salary account service.It's been three years since I am having a salary account with this bank.
Talking about Cons, I am highly dissatisfied with the bank facilities and their policies.
I recently placed a request for a Cheque book.The address available in my account details has changed since I moved recently to gurgaon.I raised the request from a nearby branch where the customer service officer took my request and said the cheque book will be delivered to my mailing address.
Now here comes the tricky part! I requested the officer to get the cheque book delivered to my nearest branch. But he said you can initially place the request to your mailing address and then change the delivery to nearest branch though phone banking.
When I called the customer service desk, the guy told we cannot change the delivery destination.The cheque book will be delivered to your address and then it will get rejected and sent back to us in case you are not there.Only then we can send it to your nearest branch,
When I asked the courier details, they refused to share the same because of some policy issues.
Since I had to get my car loan sanction documents providing these cheques to the bank, i could not get the same.Because as per ING customer service officer the entire process will take 12 more days.I placed the request 8 days ago.
Since I also have accounts in banks like hdfc and icici, I never faced such issues.I am stuck with this bank because I have a salary account with it.!
