I am writing this review as an advisor of ICICI Prudential Priority Circle and also as a customer.
After my retirement about 2 years back, many of my friends in ICICI Prudential, suggested me
to Join their team.
Just for fun and to spend time I attended their training class and appeared for All India exam to get License to do the business.
When I entered the exam hall and got the question paper, I found very easy question..not much skill required...only to choose the correct answer at choice of 2/3 answers.
I noticed that none of the people in the exam hall was writing anything and just looking at the main exam hall entrance. Though the exam was for 3 hours, I finished all answers by 30 minutes and was ready to hand over my answer sheet. The examiner, reluctantly accepted my answer sheet. But still I found others not even started answering the questions!
When I came out of the examination hall I found many Insurance officers, Including my ICICI officer standing outside and was questioning me why I came out so early as they have managed to arrange some ’proxy’ writers, to enter the hall just before one hour of the exam closing time, to help and write the correct answer!....okay this is their first cheat.
After becoming full fledged Professional Insurance Advisor/Agent, considering my status,(Retired Vice President/Director) many of my friends/relatives and my own Children took Policy through me.
With my first ’commission’ I was able to buy a laptop! Some of my Colleagues got even 50 Sovereign Gold!
Slowly they taught me what policy to recommend where I get more commission, more risk to customer and more profit to company!!
After my return from USA after a short 6 months trip, I was told as I have not completed the target for the year, suggested me to take a Senior Citizen Policy (I am 64 years old then) for a premium of Rs. 1 lakh per year. I just took it, when I received the policy, the condition mentioned was shocking. I have to keep paying for minimum 3 years. I have no death benefit. I cannot discontinue till I complete 3 years.
If I close my policy in one year and even if I wait for 3 years for en cashing I will get only Rs.0.00!
Oh my GOD I am part of cheating my own friends and relatives.
My son who has paid for 2 years checked on-line the present value of the premium paid...its not even 80% of the amount paid.
Great International cheaters....never even go for ICICI without understanding their policy.
