I wanted to have a life insurance policy from icici bank so i called up bank to send me the advisor. 3 advisor came to me and gave me a traditional plan policy for 1 lakh one time investment
for 15 year saying your amount will be 13,58,957 in 15 years without deducting any admin or maintainence charges.
when i got the kit from the bank, i was shocked that the policy was unit linked plan for 17 years and there was so many charges deducted from the very 1st day of the policy. i called up the advisor, he replied he can not do anything in this matter. then i check further the document and found that there is one column in the form which is actually signed by the advisor himself but it must be signed by my wife. I again called him up but since that day he is not picking the phone.
I file a complain in ICICI customer care of 27 dec 2008 and since that time they are not doing anything on this complaint. everytime i call them they simple update the complain and thatsy it.
Mean while i have also cancel the policy under freelook period which means if i am not agree with some points, i can surrender the policy without any charges but even i will get more amount bcoz fund has been gron up during this time. But today i got the fund back to my account which is actually 4000 less from the amount i paid.. it is 96,000 only. i again called up Customer care and again they have taken the request..
they are simply playing and dont want to take action against the executive and dont wwant to give my money back..
