Hi,
I would like to share my bad experience of investing with ICICI Pru Life Insurance. I have incurred a loss of more than Rs. 40000 on paying Rs. 3000 monthly premium after viewing its track records.
But the pain is that
1. you cannot close it for 3 years and incur a loss of 75% of fund value if stop paying the monthly premium in any month.
2. There will be Allocation charges on monthly premium and hope will go to ICICI PruLife
3. With this there will also be yearly charges made on the Premium.
My experiences out of this investment are
1. Don’t invest any amount in SIPs or which is an absolute loss. Than investing even in Recurring Deposit will benefit us.
2. Don’t rely on any information on the marketer, Check in the internet
about the fund you choose for and accordingly plan the investment.
Am sure with the kind of losses ICICI Prulife shown me, I would never wish to invest in any other funds meant not only in ICICI prulife but also in other banks.
Also these kind of investments fetching losses discourages the investors which is also the reason for Stock Market crashes which are heard often.
