I have been with ICICI bank since 12-16 months. I primarily openeed the a/c for demat purposes. The most unfortunate thing is the customer service. They have no training on how to deal with problems and
they take a long time to respond to calls. Some of the reps are not polite and have no idea about how to help.
I initially had problems with their fund transfer. Also, the a/c statements they send are confusing and do not provide details about various charges.
I have been trying to transfer funds for the past 3 days using their internet banking facility, however the site states that "the session has expired" ...What has expired are their banking abilities.
After calling their call centre for the past 3 days continuously i hear statements such as :
(a) the site is being upgraded
(b) the server may be down .... try after a little while
(c) it is a common problem...other customers are also experiencing the same
(d) Restart your computer.
This is the third day ...but the site still logs me off ...
The service offered by this bank is cheap and their charges & fees are a rip off.
