With ICICI Prudential, I have been having medical insurance for my family and an accidental policy for myself. I have mixed reactions - their customer support is good, but what they charge is not. When I started off with them, their agent came to my home, but for renewal, he is inaccessible, and customer care tells me I have to go to the branch with DD.
I have never claimed, but my friends have done so; their claim processing is user friendly and timely.
Premiums are unscientific. Beginning, it was 20K per annum family package. With time, they are supposed to decrease rates for old customers, but they do it in reverse, every year I see premiums increase by 10% to 15%.
They have a whole lot of schemes to suit needs of customers from various backgrounds.
Staff are polite and approachable.
