I purchased one Active 3G and company has given the ICICI Lombard insurance, on 14th Dec-15, it got accident, on the time of accident my wife was driving the vehicle and I was sitting behind her and "L" board is also placed on the vehicle.
On the time of registering claim, what all questions they have asked, I have replied, and unfortunately I told truth that my wife was driving the vehicle. and they didn't ask that if anybody was sitting behind or not.
Now they have rejected my claim based on that, my wife is not having "DL", while she is having valid "LL" and her "DL" is under process. and they are telling that on the time of accident if any "LL" person is driving then one "DL" person should be sitting behind his/her.
But in my case they have rejected by saying like that you have not informed to customer care that you were sitting behind her, but they didn't asked me anything about that.
The surveyor is telling if you would have told lie that you were driving then you could get the claim as you have valid "DL".
So that means if you tell truth you will suffer, if you tell lie, you will enjoy. you can think what kind of company it will be.
So my suggestion is not to go with this company, because they are believing only in collection of premium, not in settlement of claims.
