I had an extremely bad experience when I availed ICICI Lomabard term insurance Policy from Amex(POLICY #: CPP_090019 and POLICY #: CPP_090002)
When I took the policy, I was promised that the softcopy will be delivered within 3 working days, which never reached me. Later with 10-15 reminders they have sent me the hardcopy of the policies, I was shocked and surprised to see that names, Dates, address everything were misspelled in the policy. By this time, I was doubtful of the policy and wanted to cancel it.
When I approached Amex for cancellation, they have suggested me to go ahead and assured multiple times that I will get a 100% refund, which never happened. ICICI Lombard claims that I have cancelled late so they cannot refund the entire money and they do not accept that the cancellation got delayed only because of the delay from their side. The entire story looks like Amex and Lomabard joined together to cheat and loot people.
I have gone through this terrible experience and lost my hard earned money, Please be cautious with this and recommend to approach some other service provider instead of Lombard
