Horrible Company with deaf customer care people. Review on ICICI Lombard General Insurance

Please do not switch to this policy. If you are planning to switch to this insurance policy do have 3 to 4 months buffer time. They ask for vehicle inspection even if your current insurance is valid and start the process only when you are behind them for every step. They do not initiate things on their own and cancel the policy all by them self without consulting you. I had applied for the car policy a month back and after two weeks when they didn't take any step I started taking follow ups as my existing policy was nearing expiration. Their customer care people told me that they will initiate the inspection process, after calling them 4 to 5 times they called me and said your policy has been cancelled and refund has been initiated and now I have only 2 days left for my current policy expiration. And the reason that they gave for the policy cancellation was absurd and baseless they said that I told them that vehicle inspection is not required(I had told them that as per my information vehicle inspection is not a mandatory part as my policy has not expired but still if it is a part of their verification then do it but please make my policy active asap). I am left with no policy even though I had applied for it a month back hence guys this is my advice to you all "Please do not apply for this policy and if you have to apply it with 4 months buffer time."
