I have claimed for an ICICI insurance very recently at Bangalore, Karnataka and my experiance with them is as follows:


1) They are claiming that hassle free cashless repair across the country, in reality I have dropped my car at the workshop Mr Pradeep the surveyor is kind enough to inspect the car after 2 days.


2) After his inspection, he comfortably forget the car.


3) On my repeated call during office hours, I failed to catch him in office. He is least bother to attend the call if at all if he attends, the standard reply is he is out and he will call back as soon as he reached office, but he never called back even once till date.


4) On my complaint/customer care calls they gave another persons(Manager) number, upon calling him, I was told that he is not the right person and he is responsible for Andra pradesh not karnataka. He gave one more manger number. He is not less than Mr Pradeep in response(behaviour).


5) The insurance covers tyre also, I made a claim for body dent, underbody & tyre, which is clearly written in claim form.


6) Because of the busy schedule of Mr Pradeep he could not go through the same and approved only the body dent and that too I came to know only from the carriage.


7) Again I am fortunate to talk to  him over confrence call made by the carriage technician and Mr pradeep showed mercy on me to sanction the under body repair also by reading the claim form this time and reject the claim of tyre, since it is removed by me from the rim.


8) On my next call he demanded some 6K, apart from document put up charge of rs 2500/= and I refused. I am beliving that tyre claim rejection is no way connected to this. only GOD knows.


9) Finally the car got repaired by the carriage and again the busiest Mr Pradeep took three full days to inspect the repair.


10) I have got my car after 10 days with tyre claim rejection.


11) No transparency in the process and whatever the executives say is the final verdict. Literally no communication from any of these jokers either over phone nor through mail.


I had bad experience with ICICI Lombard car insurance, because when it comes to buying new insurance or renewing the insurance then they will continuously call you day after day and once you bought it and you want to understand anything or any term mention in the insurance then they will simply ask you many question like policy no, address, motor details etc. and when it is completed, when they do not have anything to ask they will simply start making silly excuses, like our system is not working please call later.


Complaint escalation is just a eye wash and they will stick on their jokers decision only.


I definitely wold not recommend this insurance to anyone and you you liked my review please do like it and do write comments in it .
