I'd received a call from one of the ICICI Lombard officials early January regarding car insurance renewal. After a few meetings with the official, (Mr Anthony) we reached a value I was happy to pay, therefore submitted a post dated cheque. I was promised I'd recieve the soft copy as soon as possible.


Fast forward a month, I still hadn't heard back from him. When I called him on the number he left me, another person picked up and said Anthony had left the job, and that he would be handling my insurance renewal henceforth. But, never picked the call after that. Fast forward to less that two weeks earlier than this day( around April 6-7), I get a message saying the post dated cheque has been cashed. Keeping in mind that my insurance expires on April 18th, I try to reach the official, and there has been another replacement. So the new official has no idea about my policy, so had to explain from scratch. He then gave me a number and asked me to send details of the car and rc via WhatsApp, to which until today I haven't recieved a response. Although, there was a call I recieved from the main office and offered to help. Gave her my details, to which she promised she'd send me the soft copy, but again, the soft copy didn't arrive.


So here I am, on April 17th, without even a soft copy to show for my renewal, and the cheque already cashed, with my insurance set to expire on the 18th.


I've never been this disappointed with any company.


Having read a few of your replies to other complaints, I hope you find that my grammar is good enough, and that my grievances warrant looking into. If you feel otherwise, I'll have to take drastic measures.
