I didn't choose it personally but when I purchased the four-wheeler the dealership suggested me for the icici Lombard zero depth insurance for my vehicle and charged nearly 24k for it.
Few months back, I met with an accident and luckily survived it with some minor bruises.
I went to the Dealership the other day to get the claim and as told by the dealership staff at the time of policy purchase that only a file charge of 1000INR would be charged when we claim the insurance.
They took 13 days to process the file and it took over 4 months to get the insurance claim.
When the policy says, that the claim would get processed immediately depending upon the availability of parts, why didn't they executed the same here?
I crosschecked with the spares department, everything was available and the mistake was committed from the insurance guys.
I compared the policy price with the other policy providers, ICICI Lombard auto insurance was one of the most expensive policy provider with such poor service.
The best policy provider i've came across so far is the Bharti Axa Insurance.
