I'm using Icici credit card for quite some time, customer service is not at all customer friendly. Even after making payment of minimum amount as told by the customer service representative, I had to pay changes of 700/- for not paying required minimum payment. Though I had spoke to customer service representative that I had made the payment as told by their colleague, they are not heeding to my word. And supporting him, by saying that why will he suggest you to pay less than the minimum payment. I wanted this issue to be escalated to their subordinate, as he spoke to me, saying he will raise complaint which will take 72 working hours to resolve. But to my surprise after a couple of days I received a call, they said they have checked the audio conversation of the person who gave me wrong information, but they have not found any wrong information provided to me. Asking me to pay 700/- extra as I didn't pay exact minimum amount.
Hence I personally feel that Icici bank customer service people are making customers to pay more than what they should pay. This attitude will not work in long run, I have a doubt that why are they charging annual rent for using Icici credit card, while HDFC credit card is provided lifetime free rent.
