I too had a love story is a story you must read. This is not one of those love stories about college-goers, but a subtle and mature story of a middle-aged couple. And the best part is, it is real. The way Ravinder Singh has captured the emotional moments between him and his beloved makes it hard to believe that this is his first ever novel as a writer. His narration not just gives the words a meaning but convinces to readers the intensity of sentiments that this writer has lived once. It is simple, honest yet crafted better than many of those fictitious over the top love stories.
The story is about how the writer finds his soulmate Khushi, on an online dating platform called Shadi.com and how the world around him changes. After some time spending in a long distance relationship, his job makes him go the US and coming back to Delhi he finally meets his beloved face-to-face. In Delhi, he also meets Khushi's parents. When he goes back to the US he misses her and keeps a virtual touch with her almost every day. When he comes back to India, parents of Ravinder and Khushi decides to engage the couple but. Things go wrong so severely that it destroys writer's dream and leaves him devastated. To answer the questions popped in your mind please read the book.
